Restoring Health Once Things Have Gone Wrong
My journey into health began with my mom, who introduced me to the whole concept of alkaline vs acidic foods. She taught me early on to avoid sugar and other acid-forming foods while favoring an alkaline diet rich in greens, vegetables, and minerals to create conditions hostile to dis-ease. Later on I stumbled onto the work of Otto Warburg who demonstrated that cancer cells thrive in acidic, low-oxygen environments and rely heavily on sugar fermentation for energy.
In 2009, after having met Dr. Robert O. Young in person, studying his work deepened my understanding of the terrain theory: The body’s internal environment determines health more than external pathogens. He emphasized the critical role of clean, structured water and systematic acid elimination through diet, fasting and lifestyle.
After a bout of severe depression which lead to alcohol abuse, I was faced with a serious condition of over-acidification that manifested in several alarming lumps and growths. Faced with the fate that had already killed my father in law and a number of my past friends and collegues, I applied various protocols that involved detoxing my kidneys and liver, cleaned up my colon as well as MMS (chlorine dioxide) and DMSO. These tools, combined with strict alkaline nutrition and detoxification, helped me address the root cause and thus revert back to a good state of health.
In this section I share the research, protocols and personal experiences that shaped my approach to restoring and maintaining balance at 60+.
